About Us
Welcome to Cofficina Café + Cowork, a dynamic and vibrant co-working space nestled in the heart of Marikina. Our journey began on Independence Day, and it was no coincidence. Our doors opened to embrace the essence of freelancers and start-ups – independence and self-reliance. Just as the wheels of a bicycle turn with human will and energy, we believe that every emerging business is fueled by determination and hard work.
Inspired by a vision of accessible workspaces, Cofficina was born from a need close to home. Bianca Tolentino’s sister, Karla, often found herself working late nights at coffee shops due to the lack of similar spaces in Cainta and nearby areas. This scarcity ignited the spark to create a co-working haven that caters to freelancers, students, and entrepreneurs. Our aim is to provide a comfortable and accessible work environment, eliminating the need to commute to distant hubs like Mandaluyong or Makati.
Cofficina, a fusion of “coffee,” “office,” and “kusina” (kitchen), stands as a testament to our commitment to more than just work. We envision a space where laptops are tools of connection, not barriers. Described by Bianca as a “live social network,” Cofficina fosters a community where insights are freely shared, and collaboration is second nature.
Our space reflects this ethos. The lobby, resembling a cozy living room, features inviting seating options like sofas and wooden benches. A captivating calligraphy mural by artist Gek Catagan proudly proclaims, “Where Dreams Come Brew.” Opposite this, a glass window hand-drawn by Karla showcases the benefits of co-working and a delightful guide to various coffee choices.
From design to décor, Cofficina is a labor of love. Bianca and her sisters poured their creativity into the interior, crafting coasters, posters, and wall art, often collected from their travels. The hands-on approach extends to the walls themselves, painted with dedication. This DIY essence adds to the cozy atmosphere, inviting engagement and interaction.
Our founder, Bianca, is more than just a presence; she’s a catalyst for connection. Engaging with members, she checks progress, offers encouragement, and initiates board game breaks. This personal touch mirrors our philosophy of building relationships to inspire growth.
Cofficina isn’t confined to individual spaces. With an open layout, it transforms seamlessly into a venue for presentations, workshops, and launches. Since our inception, we’ve hosted events ranging from calligraphy workshops to business talks – all accessible without admission fees.
At Cofficina, our dream is to cultivate a living social network of inspired professionals, a place where ideas flow freely, and the sense of community is palpable. Our shared working environment encapsulates the spirit of collaboration and support. Join us on this journey, where dreams are nurtured, connections are fostered, and every day is an opportunity to make your mark.

My experience in Cofficina was awesome. I’ve been there mga 3-4x and each visit was satisfying. I enjoyed there unlimited WIFI which is really stable and strong. The food are afforable and tasty! The ambiance and working spaces is very homey and artsy. I love how you can share a space with others but you can still have your own space and privacy. The staffs are friendly and accomodating. This is the best coworking spaces I’ve been and I will definitely get back for work stuff or just chill out.
